A visit to family in Kent March 2009

We went to see Jon and Kerry and their family in Kent and joined in the birthday celebrations for one of Kerry's sisters.

We had a great meal and it's always so good to see the children - but scary to see how much they have all grown!

As always, someone got missed out. This time it was Layla but perhaps the next photos will make up for it - we couldn't ignore the rabbits.

We were near Allington Lock and enjoyed early morning walks along the riverside. None of the boats are working boats nowadays, apart from the River Authority launches but many are old barges or narrow boats converted for leisure use. One appears to be lived in full time as we saw the same people this year as last.
